Phil takes overall responsibility for both client relationships and every aspect of projects we support. He moved to the UK in 1995 from Australia to take up a senior HRD role with NatWest and as founding member of the Pulse Plus team has been actively involved in all of programmes we have implemented. He enjoys developing creative and innovative solutions to our clients' challenges that fit their corporate culture and business requirements.
Ian Surry
Commercial Director
Ian is responsible for the commercial, corporate and compliance affairs of Pulse Plus. He also nutures strategic partnerships and alliances that ensure we have the broadest range of solutions available to our clients. Before starting Pulse Plus he held several high profile roles in the music and entertainment industry and since founded numerous enterprises in the IT industry.
Simon Phillips
Head of Resourcing
Simon’s role is to manage every aspect of project resourcing, planning and logistics – no easy task given the scale and complexity of the projects we support. Before moving into his current role, Simon spent time at the sharp edge of Pulse Plus as a Learning Consultant – travelling extensively, delivering learning solutions for various clients around the UK. This has helped him understand the challenges and obstacles that occur when deploying large scale projects, but more importantly the experience to overcome them.
Giles Manton
Senior Learning Consultant
Giles takes responsibility for leading learning interventions and developing clear trainer and project manager briefs. Although he has a strong academic background in IT and sharp analytical ability, he is committed to developing people focused solutions. He is also sought after for his delivery skills and has undertaken assignments for high profile clients in both the UK and USA. His delivery style is frequently described as highly empathetic, stimulating and thought provoking.
John Tomalin
Senior Learning Consultant
John specialises in delivery of learning solutions, in particular ERP and CRM systems. Before joining Pulse Plus John worked as IT Training Manager and Training Projects manager for a number of blue chip organisations. This gives him a unique perspective and one of the reasons he his held in such high regard by the internal project teams that he works alongside. His quick wit and the enthusiasm for learning makes him popular with clients and delegates alike.
